My Heart is Yours Bangle

This bangle came about as a Custom order for Cindi. She contacted me concerning my Woven Eros Passion Labdorite Bangle and asked if I could do a design without the main focal gemstone and just have the hearts. This is for her wedding in November. So I came up with a lacy design with hearts incorporated for her wedding day.

The back portion is scalloped lace wire with a bangle outline and a heart hook clasp. The heart focals have been woven and adorned with a large 10mm Coin pearl and two 8mm pearls in the center of each heart. Down the center of the bangle is a line of smaller 4.5mm freshwater pearls for an extra touch of elegance.

The bangle is 1 3/4 inch in width and at its smallest at 8 1/4 inch in length. It can extend up to 9 1/4 in length with the 3 clasp options.

I drew the design out for her first. It came out exactly like the original design!

Each piece of this glorious pendant was handmade solely with wire. There is no soldering in this piece. It is very delicate.

Lockets - A View to the Soul

Lockets. They're really something special. They hold loved ones close to your heart so you can keep them with you and look at them at any point in the day.

Once day while I was randomly searching Etsy, I came across a very neat design. I decided I had to give that a try myself and these are what I came up with:

Design based on Copper Wire Wrapped Locket Pendant Necklace by WiredElements

I was so inspired by my first locket that i just had to make a second immediately. This one has a Carnelian Gemstone Cabachon with Carnelian chips and Smoky Quartz rounds accenting the filigree swirls. This particular locket too over 6 hours to make from start to finish and I just adore it. I've got some more stones put together to make more!

Halloween is around the Corner!

I just love Halloween! It's such a fun holiday. Everyone from children to adults can dress up as whatever they feel like for the year. I just love the jewelry and accessories we add to our daily lives for the month of October too! So may things we can do to subtly show our tribute to All Saints Day.

I've made a pendant just for Halloween. My little cat. He's made of an abundance of wrapped silver and black wire. The cat is black, of course, with Swarovski crystals making up his color and a Topaz crystal eye for that "glowing eyes in the dark" look. Then the little guy is flying on his witch's broom. I haven't made her yet, but she's in the works.

Amanda's Garnet Ring

This little beauty is for Amanda. She ordered a custom ring for her birthday and this is what I created for her. The ring began to develop a life of it's own with weavings, swirls, and small garnet rounds.

Spring is on your Wrist

To celebrate Mothers Day and make a few pieces for Eclectics Gallery's Mum's the Word event, I made a new bangle and a small set of earrings to match. This will match a ring I had made a few months ago with a small flower.

I hope you're ready for Spring! This set....bangle, earrings, ring...will help you get in the mood.

The bangle is in progress in this photo. I finished it late the other night and didn't get a picture of the completed bangle. You can see the finished product with the ring at Eclectics Gallery tomorrow.

 Earrings to match.
