A Challenge from the Wire Goddess Etsy Team: Spring Blossoms

Every few months, the Wire Goddess Team on Etsy hosts a team challenge. Each member is encouraged to participate, although we are not required to participate, as it is strictly for fun, inspiration, learning, and a great sense of community. The winner of the challenge then decides the next challenge focus and time frame so there is little stress involved.

Lockets - A View to the Soul

Lockets. They're really something special. They hold loved ones close to your heart so you can keep them with you and look at them at any point in the day.

Once day while I was randomly searching Etsy, I came across a very neat design. I decided I had to give that a try myself and these are what I came up with:

Design based on Copper Wire Wrapped Locket Pendant Necklace by WiredElements


I was so inspired by my first locket that i just had to make a second immediately. This one has a Carnelian Gemstone Cabachon with Carnelian chips and Smoky Quartz rounds accenting the filigree swirls. This particular locket too over 6 hours to make from start to finish and I just adore it. I've got some more stones put together to make more!
